Ballet originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century and developed in France and Russia. It is an art form that is the foundation for most genres of dance like jazz and contemporary. Our ballet program focuses on classical ballet with rigorous techniques such as pointe work, turnout of the legs, and high extensions. We also introduce contemporary ballet techniques. It improves a dancers line, posture, flexibility, alignment and strength.
